My Favourite Five Songs as a Teenager

It is 1:00 Thursday morning and I have just finishing a task that should be submitted tomorrow morning. In fact this the 4th night in a row that I have to work late. Out of the blue came a glimpse of memory of my teenage years when some of the songs I used to like and adore echoed in my mind.
I know that the main percentage of the readers of this blog are young (in their 20s) so most of them have not heared of the top hits of the 80s when I was a teenager. I have decided to select five of my favourite songs which for most of you will be exotic while for a small minority they will bring back good memories.
To begin with, each male teenager has a favourite female singer. While most of my friends where overwhelmed with the erotic presence of Madonna, Samantha fox and others, my favourite female singer was the German Sandra and this is her best song: Maria Magdalena

Teenager usually love rock songs. I was not fond of this type of music but certainly enjoyed some of the songs by Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Europe. This is my favourite from Europe: the Final Countdown

I used to adore one song performed by a group that did not last too long. The Cutting Crew have been brilliant track "I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight". What do you think?

My favourite band in the 80s was A-Ha and here is their super hit "The Sun Always Shines on TV".
One of the best songs ever is Air Supply's "Making Love out of Nothing at All", but the video of the songs is not so impressive.

Ya salam, although my teens began in the late 80s I share your choice of songs, actually Cutting Crew's song is still on my ipod! we used to wait for the weekly request show on FM "listner's choice" to hear our names and dedications, those were the days!

Do you by any chance remember a song called "She's like the Wind" by Patrick Swayze? Now that's one good 80's song!

there is also "sailor" on Amman FM and the days of Mohannad Jazeera.. hate to say it, but my teens were in the 90s when Mariah Carey and Celene Dion were the hit! thanks for the "deviation" away from politics!

I have every one of those songs, and still listen to them when I'm in the right mood. Good music is always good !

You missed Careless Whisper - George Michael.

The wind of change is one of my favorite songs for the scorpions.

Mr. Saturday Night for Bon Jovi.

ok, now I feel old
