Fact: There is no Soccer Outside England!

When I say there is no soccer outside England I mean it. I have been following the English football since 1980 until ART has stolen the English league and started their monopoly. However, each time I get lucky enough to watch a match between two English sides or an English side in Europe I still confirm my belief in the English football.
Forget all the crap in the Spanish league (do you believe Real Madrid still have a chance after losing 7 games to win the title) or the Italian league without Juve (Inter leading by 399 points I think) since the real passionate football is in England.
Today's Carling Cup Final was a classic. You will never see a team going out to play a final with their young reserve side and keeping the stars on the bench. Arsenal introduced 6 teenage players in their starting-line up against Chelsea's loads of money arrogant team and could have easily won. The only difference was the best player in the world right now: Didier Drogba.
Today's match was one of the best I have seen. In fact each and every Cup Final in England is a classic. The match had all the skills, enthusiasm and determination that you can ever dream of. The match had fights and bad tempers as well and some glorious and horrible moments (terry's injury)
I am a Liverpool fan since 1980 and I was still in Euphoria after kicking Barca's ass 2-1 in Nou camp (we still have a return match which is not easy) but I was whole-heartedly with Arsenal today. Yes Arsenal has destroyed Liverpool with a 6-3 win in the quarter finals but they do play the best passing football in England. The second reason is that I hate the guts of Mourinho (Chelsea's coach) for his arrogance and the fact that he built his team with money and bringing the so-called best players in the world. However, Chelsea's strength is in two players Drogba and Lampard.
Drogba was phenomenal today like he has been all seasons. His two goals -especialy the second- were brilliant. I firmly belive that he is the best player in the world now after Zidane's retirement and Ronaldinho demise. Drogba has made Shevchenko look like a below average player all seasonn and proved that the best players can only prove themselves in the English league.
A fantastic match to enjoy and a lot of drama. I am waiting from now to the FA Cup Final in Wembley, but nothing can beat Liverpool's win last season with that thunderous shot from Steven Gerrard equalising in the 93rd minute!

Drogba's goals

I am a bit confused. If Inter is not worthy of the Italian title because it has not lost in this many number of games, and Real Madrid may not be worthy (no question about that but I am just raising a question for the sake of argument) of the Spanish title because they suffered 7 defeats, what qualifies a team to win its local league? The EPL is undoubtedly a top class soccer competition but your argument is a bit exaggerated.
3ala kollen bitla3lak...I should not be bitter about the Barca's 2-1 defeat last week. I will be just glad if they win the Primera this year.

Jameed the issue i8s thjat in the Italian and Spanish league the level of competition and stamina of the bog teams is bad. Look at Inter winning 17 matches in a raw and them drawing at home to valencia the 3rd in the Spanish league. Liverpool the 3rd in England beat Barca the top class in Spain. In Englsnd all the matches are competitive. Man United lost to West Ham who are 21st. Barca will win the Spanish league since Sevile, Valencia and the wreckage of Real are not showing any signs of benefiting from Barca's loss of control.
Anon: There is no clear definition. The biggest English magazine is World Soccer and the best website is soccernet.com
Firas yes I agree England and Spain are the ultimate under achievers. England had no decent coach since Venables in 1996. Eriksson was a joke and McClaren is no better. This crop of players is the best English generation I have seen and if they do not win anything in the next 4 years they will need ages to do so.

No clear definition? Only the yanks call it soccer. It is football even in Jordan. 'World Soccer' is not the biggest or best English football magazine it is insignificant its circulation is only 51,911. and Soccernet is ESPN.

Its called the FA (Football Association), Fédération Française de Football, German Football Association, Japanese Football Association, CBF, etc

west ham are 19th not 21st there are
only 20 in the premiership.

The EPL is becoming more competitive and the best goals scored in European leagues are those scored in it. It's still starnge how aweful do English players do when they play outside England
