How Many Arab Youth have been recruited by Al Qaeda Lately?

As the Israeli destruction of Lebanon continues, and the horrific images of killed children and other civilains are aired throughout the Arab World and as the Arab regimes prove again how "impotent" they are in face of the Israeli crimes, we can easily expect a massive new wave of recruitment for Al Qaeda and other religious fundamentalist organizations.
Arab youth are us. We are angry, humilated, feel depressed, full of hatred for Israel and the USA, and all of us can take different routes. Israel is the root cause of all problems in the Middle East, and it is organically supported by the USA. Both Israel and the USA compose a "package" of twins who represent evil and destruction in the Arab mind.
Some of the Arab Youth have been watching their families, lineages, cities of origin and countries destroyed by the Israeli agression. They need a mechanism to do something, and the most effective mechanism is fundamental organizations.
Only a few Arab youth will chose to fight Israel and the USA democratically, in peaceful ways and among national and global networks for justice and peace. Others will go for the direct impact with retaliating in violence.
Routes for violence are abundant. Organizations like Al Qaeda are ready to exploit this anger, not only against the USA and Israel but also against the Arab countries, communities and regime themselves. This is a twisted response but it is a natural result of the Israeli and American action.
As I write now, and as you read hundreds of Arab Youth are being mainstreamed into the Qaeda and fundamental organizations who will provide the platform for angry Arab youth to become what we used to call them: terrorists!
This is a very simple cause and effect system, but that idiot in the White House will never learn.

:(, sad, but true.

The longer this war goes on, the more rage and hatred feelings grow in the hearts of our youth.

It is scary!

Our youth have a huge responsibility that lies upon their shoulders .. it is to work their brains a bit before they jump into anything .. if it is that easy to recruit youth and count on their emotional reactions .. it means that those who really join have had the tendency from the beginning .. it is not easy to turn someone's beliefs in a short time no matter what the affecting factors are ..

Is this valid or this is only my wishful thinking?

Khalidah, I dont think that Batir said it is that easy to recruit our youth in Al Qaeda, but still the current situation in Lebanon, the feelings of opression and the need to do anything for the sake who our youth believe our brothers, our land, and our God. It sure helps in makeing them easier targets than before, especially if those young men a struggling with other issues in their daily life such as poverty, disfunctional family,...etc.

I wouldnt put the responsibility upon the youth shoulders. It is the grown up who need to be careful and take care of their children.
