After two weeks of hectic work full of schedules, meetings, deadlines, report reviews, financial reporting and presentations it was a relief to enjoy a nice family day outdoors. I have participated with my wife and daughter this morning in the "Running for your health" walk/race organized by the "Sports for all federation" at the Dunes club.
I have managed to stretch my self to the maximum of my fitness to finish the walk. It has been a great surprise to discover that my daughter Suzan ( 5 years) won a medal for the 3rd place in the under 10 years children age group.
Well, next time I will let Suzan run by her own to get the first place and not be hindered by her sluggish parents!
The most interesting thing I saw was that some people celebrated finishing the race by a thrilling way which was "smoking"! Well, this is what I call running for your health in the true Jordanian way!

Oh this sounds awesome! I wish I knew about it in advance to post it in the Amman updates :) I'm glad the concept of exercising and living a healthy life is somehow picking up... seeing it at the Dead Sea Marathon was very refreshin for me!
Yalla Batir keep working on that fitness of yours to go for the marathon next time ;)
