Jordan Watch
An update and analysis of the progress, or lack of it in political, economic, social and cultural reform in Jordan.

Excited with my new Nationality!

I am not an easy person to get excited. I usually act like happy children if I watch my favourite soccer teams win, and maybe a few occasions of outdoor travels and spirited gatherings but I was really thrilled to see my latest posts appear in the Jordan Plant homepage. Yes I am excited and happy like a 5 years old child with my new nationality as a citizen of Jordan Planet, something that I will always cherish and be proud of.
The nice co-incidence is the fact that my inclusion here comes at the same day when I decided to dedicate a full hour each day for posting in my blogs (English and Arabic). During the last two months I have struggled with my time management options, and found myself chased by professional deadlines and did not manage to allocate time for frequent quality blogging. I have came to realize that my blog is a reflection of my own character, and that it is something I must enjoy and make it bring added value to my lifeĀ and that was when I decided to set aside a minimum of one hour each day for research and writing quality blogs.
My addition to the Jordan Planet's remarkable community is an honor I really appreciate and will do my best to provide useful and hopefully interesting reading. I would like to thank all those who gave me a vote of confidence.

Welcome aboard Batir, I have read some of your articles in the Jordan Times many years ago but I didn't know that you are Jordanian because your name didn't sound like Muhammad or Mahmud, any way, enjoy your stay.

Mabroook mabroook...

i try to read most of your posts, but i don't always leave comments... and there are many like myself, so your are more popular than you think ;)

i wish many bloggers should try to give better blogging; especially arabic ones, i think it would be great if you wrote in the newspaper about what blogging really is, because people think it's chat or a website... what do you think?
