Bush in Jordan: useless presence!

One of the major indicators to assess the nature of the visit by Mr George W Bush to Jordan is to compare it with the former visit by Bill Clinton in 1995.
The Jordanian people, like all Arabs and Muslims and almost 90% of the world population hate the guts of the current US president for his arrogance, misjudgements and the total catastrphic failure of his policy in the region. The actions, and no-actions by the US administration since 2001 have caused havoc in this region, sent hundreds of thousands of people to their graves violently, increased extremism and strength of terrorist groups and destabilised the region politically and culturally.
In his last two years in office Bush is starting the reap the poisonous results of his misguided policy. Thousands in Jordan have marched against him as in all the countries he has visited. It is a shame that I was in Cairo at that time since I would never miss the opportunity to express my feelings towards Bush in the streets of Amman.
On the contrary, when Bill Clinton visited Amman he had a good overall reception. Indeed he has been faced with usual ideological protests by Islamists and leftists but he has never managed to bring about the huge complex of hatred feelings that Bush accomplished. Clinton had a good speech at the Parliament and did some positive economic and social acheivements and left the country in respect and grace. Clinton's policy, although criticised by a lot of Arab politicians and most of the street was vastly more mature and credible than Bush's. Clinton wanted to reach a peaceful settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but the realities beat his efforts. Bush just did not give a damn and gave Israel and continuous license to kill and destroy.
I am certain the meeting between King Abdullah and Bush was not useful. The King has only one thing to say which can be put very boldly as "yo Bush when are you going to stop this shit by Israel which is threatening all stability in the region, and when are you going to put emphasis on the Palestinian issue"?
Bush would never listen, and will provide deaf ears to any idea apart from the full, unconditional support of Israel.

I don't see how you are suggesting that we compare Bush to Clinton when the two are two different animals of two different breeds.
For a starter : Bush is a republican while Clinton is a democrat, Bush is a hawk while Clinton is a dove, Bush is conservative while Clinton is liberal. Bush is methodist while Clinton is babtist. Bush advocates preemption while Clinton advocates detente. And the long list goes on and on but I don't want to bore you with it. There are no similarities between them at all. When we compare as you probably very well know, we compare apple to apple not apple to orange.

....And after he told him "yo bush stop this shit" he bitch-slapped him , and told him now take your army bases and secret prisons out of my little farm, and the next time you want a place to meet with my fellow toy "AlMalki" go look for a different empire to host your asses like Qatar or Micronesia.

....And then he took off to India, to conduct high importance talks, teach the Indians how to build a nuclear bomb, and demonstrate to them the latest fashion in the fashion trends and fall/winter collection

Hashmi it seems sarcasm is really good for you. I think you could be a very good addition to blogging and you can introduce a new style of writing that is absent from Jordanian bloggers.

wallah 7ilweh minak ya hashmi. I doubt Mr. Batir he used (yo bush). It was more like "u7m Mr. President can u please, if u feel ok with it to let Israel maybe for a while or a couple of weeks to quite things down untill we have stirred up this regional war enough to preserve our throwns for another 50 years. We are being pressured here Mr. Bush see the latest war in Lebanon has showed our true face, and we dont need any new violence to not say anything about, or even support Israel Israel like the Moghamara ghair ma7sooba". Thus we see the new ceisefire in the occupied territories which is part-time and Olmerts statements to shush the arab leaders pleas so it can be easier for them to lie to their people.
