Jordan Watch : A new domain and a new phase

Starting from Nov 1st 2006 I have changed my blog domain to a new special domain which is www.jordanwatch.net

The new domain is also hosted by Jeeran who have provided great technical and hosting support for this blog and the excellent team of Jeeran has always been there for any backstopping and I certaily remain a Jeeran citizen.

By this change, the blog will now have more space and hopefully better quality. I am aiming to increase the frequency of blogging and gradually turning this blog from a personal blog to a media project that focuses on update and analysis of political and socio-economic developments in Jordan and the related issues in the Arab World.

In this blog there has been a lot of ups and downs and many interactive comments and discussions and I have been subjected to a lot of criticism which is a normal component of any healthy democratic debate. There has been the occasional personal backlash but that is also a part of the process.

Within the next few months I will try to make my posts and articles mostly focused on Jordan with a more articulated framework that includes three main values I will strive not to deviateb from which are democracy, freedom and social justice and If any of my posts will take an altered path I will be more than happy to receive comments and notes.

I would love to thank all my readers and commentors who have been the cornerstone for any popularity that this blog has gained and I hope to continue reading your comments and your visits here.
